As a result of water protection legislation, there will be numerous projects over the coming decades to take measures against the impact of hydropeaking in Swiss watercourses. The two day conference will present the current state of knowledge on the topic of “Remediation of the effects of hydropeaking”.
National and international experts from science and industry will discuss pressing issues from the perspectives of both aquatic ecology and hydraulic engineering. On the third day, there will be the opportunity to visit the KWO stilling basin in Innertkirchen.
