3rd International Off-grid Renewable Conference & Exhibition (IOREC)
Venue
The third edition of the International Off-grid Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition (IOREC) will take place in Nairobi, Kenya from 30 September to 1 October, 2016. The conference will be organised by IRENA, in partnership with the Kenya Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE).
IOREC is the global platform for sharing experience and best practices on the design and implementation of enabling policies, tailored financing schemes, innovative business models and technology applications for stand-alone and mini-grid systems. The first edition of IOREC was organised in Accra, Ghana in 2012 and the second in Manila, Philippines, in 2014.
