A Mini-Symposium focused on Education and Outreach on Microbiology offers the possibility to scientists and science communicators to network and to discuss about the latest perspectives on microbiology education and outreach.

In this context two outstanding speakers will propose keynote lectures:

Session 14th June: Making the bridge: talking about epidemic outbreak to the broad public
M. Christen Darcy -- Perception is reality
Session 15th June: From the lab with love: how to promote scientific education using microbiology
Dr. Joanna Verran -- Mixed cultures: engaging the public with microbiology using the arts and humanities

Most importantly, during the same sessions, you will have the possibility to present your past, present or future experiences in communicating microbiology either during a poster session or by giving a short talk.
