The main goal of the energy startup day is to initiate collaboration for knowledge exchange between startups, incumbents and new actors in the energy and cleantech sector. The focus goes beyond financial investments to foster collaborative development.

The event is aimed to

  • Startups and pre-startups in the area of energy and cleantech that are looking for strategic partnerships in the energy sector.
  • Incumbent companies (utilities, technology companies) who seek innovative solutions and potential collaboration with startups.
  • New actors which aim to thrive in the transitioning process of the energy industry.

The event gives the opportunity to interact with innovative startups from the energy and Cleantech sector in order to identify first-hand the potential for collaboration. Besides interesting presentations on the theme “Startups playing in between disruption and cooperation”, there will be a startup fair, pitching sessions und one‐to‐one meetings. Furthermore, we will present the newest findings from the research group Energy Entrepreneurship.
