Global warming has altered plant phenology and the observed, large changes therein offer tremendous possibilities to gain deeper insight in the underlying mechanisms steering phenology. This presentation will provide an overview on recent progress in our understanding of spring and autumn phenology, with a focus on temperate deciduous trees.
